Comprehensive Education and Family Resource Center (CEFRC)
The Comprehensive Education and Family Resource Centers supports the formal and informal learning and developmental enrichment opportunities that are provided for students outside of school and beyond the regular school day or year. The mission of Resource Center is to help parents become active participants in their children's in school endeavors by equipping the parents with the necessary tools and resources to support and assist with the educational development of their children.
We will help students to grow and to become well-adjusted, independent, critical thinkers as they enhance their intellective competencies. Children and their parents will be empowered to make decisions regarding their academic futures. The Resource Center assists parents with locating information needed to successfully supplement their child's education. As a result of these efforts the centers will:
- Increase studentsí academic performance
- Increase studentsí motivation to learn
- Increase study skills
- Increase positive social skills and interactions
- Parents will have the tools necessary to provide a supportive home
- Parents will develop a personal plan of excellence with clear goals.
